Youth & Minor Supervision Policy

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, The Dink Yard has established the following policy for minors:

1. Guests Under 16

All guests under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times while inside The Dink Yard facility, except during staff-led leagues and camps.

Supervision means the parent or guardian must remain on-site and be actively responsible for the minor’s behavior and safety.

2. Guests Ages 16–17

Guests ages 16–17 may participate without adult supervision; however, a completed liability waiver is still required and must be signed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian prior to participation.

3. Leagues & Camps Exception

Minors participating in The Dink Yard–organized leagues, clinics, or camps do not require on-site parental supervision during program hours, provided a completed waiver is on file.

4. Waiver Requirement

All minors must have a completed liability waiver on file prior to participating in any activities. A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the waiver on behalf of minors under 18.

5. Check-In & Registration

Minors may not check themselves in unless they are ages 16–17 and have a completed waiver on file. Staff may request verification of a completed waiver at any time.

6. Safety & Conduct

Minors are expected to follow all posted safety rules and facility policies. Running, misuse of equipment, abusive language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

7. Enforcement

The Dink Yard reserves the right to deny entry or remove any minor or supervising adult who fails to comply with this policy. No refunds will be issued for removals due to policy violations.
